Easter is one of the most popular holidays in the Czech Republic. It brings popular traditions and delights to both believers and atheists. On Easter Monday a program is clear: boys visit girls with whipped willow to give girls the spring freshness. They are rewarded with Easter eggs, sweets, a shot of alcohol or a cold water shower if they don´t arrive on time. This year there is no carolling, so we have to expose our traditions to imagination and ingenuity. Easter decoration is not forbidden, let's make it nice! Also, we can cook and bake delicious cakes, such as traditional sweet cake called “lamb”. Let´s enjoy it! Painting eggs is a nice tradition that we all go through home anyway. So the only difference is that we will stay home together. It doesn't look so bad, does it? How do you celebrate it?
