We offer a trip to Dresden, Germany, to all those who are interested in seeing the picturesque landscape of the Bohemian Central Highlands and visiting the country of our neighbours. From its original fishing village, Dresden became a spa town and royal residence and later the capital of Saxony. The most important historical sights include the Zwinger Gallery and the Albertinum, the Hofkirche and Frauenkirche churches, and the Semperoper opera house. During the Second World War, Dresden was almost completely destroyed by massive air raids and subsequently rebuilt. Now it is an admired metropolis that offers many cultural experiences. There are large shopping galleries right in the city centre and beautiful markets during the Christmas period.
